How to add background music

Method 1: Add from the Player page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Album", select your desired media and enter the Player page.

• For 360 media: tap "Editor" > "Frame Cut" > "Confirm Clip" > Edit and Export > "Music" > select the background music you want to add.
  • Use the Mixer: After adding music, drag the Mixer slider to adjust the volume balance between the original video soundtrack and the added background music.

• Flat media: Tap "Editor" > "Music", and select the background music you want to add.

Method 2: Add from the Edit page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Edit" > "Create a Video" > "Music" > select the background music you want to add. Tap the "Volume" icon to adjust the background music volume.

• Android: Yes, it supports adding local music, including MP4 (extracting audio from videos), AAC, MP3, and lossless FLAC formats.
• iOS: No, it does not support adding local music. You can only choose from the music recommended within the Insta360 app or extract music from videos.

2. Can I turn off the music in the Insta360 app's theme templates?

Yes. You can tap "Pro Edit" > "Music" > tap the audio track > tap the "Delete" icon to remove the background music.
