The Dual Track Mixer feature in the Insta360 app allows you to precisely adjust the volume balance between audio from a Bluetooth device and the camera's built-in microphone. This article describes the detailed steps to help you easily achieve your desired audio recording results.
How to adjust the mixer
- Update your Insta360 app to v2.0.0 or later.
- Open the Insta360 app > tap "Album" at the bottom > tap a video to play it.
- Follow the specific steps below based on your media type:
- 360 media
- Tap "Editor" > "Frame Cut" > "Confirm Clip" > "Edit and Export" > "Go to more edits" > "Edit" > "Mixer".
- Once "Mixer" is enabled, you can control the audio source by sliding the audio track bar left or right to adjust the volume balance between the Bluetooth device and the camera's microphone.
- Flat media
- Tap "Editor" > "Edit" > "Mixer".

- Once "Mixer" is enabled, you can control the audio source by sliding the audio track bar left or right to adjust the volume balance between the Bluetooth device and the camera's microphone.

- Common path for 360 and flat media
- Tap the "Settings" icon in the top-left corner > tap "Audio" > enable "Audio Mix".
- This path only supports basic volume adjustment and does not support switching the audio source.

Please note: Volume adjustment is not available on the Edit page; please do not attempt to use it there.
How to turn off the music in a template
You can navigate to the page of the template you are currently using, select "Pro Edit" > tap the audio track > tap the "Delete" icon to delete the music.
