Please note:

  • Currently, zooming is not supported for the FOV feature on the Android version of the Insta360 app. You can achieve a similar FOV adjustment by using the pinch-to-zoom or camera movement function.

Please refer to: Insta360 App: Keyframes & Movement

  • The available FOV options (such as Tiny Planet, MegaView, UltraWide, Linear, Narrow, etc.) and their specific parameters vary depending on the camera model and shooting mode. Please refer to the options actually displayed in the app.
  • The Tiny Planet option is only available for 360 media.
  • For wide-angle cameras, only videos captured in the FreeFrame Video Mode support the use of the FOV feature in the Insta360 app, while other shooting modes have fixed aspect ratios, preventing adjustment of FOV.

FAQ

Why do the edges of the media appear blurry when using the Tiny Planet FOV?

The Tiny Planet FOV applies a stretching effect to the edges of the image during processing, which can cause a slight reduction in edge sharpness. This is a normal visual characteristic of this particular FOV mode.
