The Insta360 app supports adding a variety of effects to both 360 and flat media, helping you create more creative and impressive content.

How to add effects

We recommend updating your Insta360 app to the latest version to ensure the feature functions properly and to enjoy a more stable experience. To update the app, search for "Insta360" in Apple App Store or your device's app store. If an "Update" button appears, tap it to update. Alternatively, you can visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.

Method 1: From the Player page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Album" at the bottom > select your desired media to enter the Player page.

• Flat media: Tap "Editor" > "Effect" to add effects.

• 360 media: Tap "Editor" > "Frame Cut" > "Confirm Clip" > "Edit and Export" > "Go to more edits" > "Effect" to add effects.

Method 2: From the Edit page

Open the Insta360 app, tap "Edit" > "Create a Video" > select the media you want to add effects to > tap "Next" > "Effect" to add effects.
