Please note:
- The models listed above are tested and compatible Android models. Other untested models may still be compatible; it is recommended to refer to the minimum configuration requirements.
- ONE X can be used with either the Insta360 app or the Insta360 ONE X app. For details, please refer to: ONE X Compatibility Information.
Insta360 App Compatibility Notes
- For devices with configurations below the recommended requirements, which can install the Insta360 app, they can perform basic shooting operations and simple editing operations. However, when using high-performance features such as AI analysis or HD video playback, you may experience lag or delays. For these tasks, we recommend using Insta360 Studio on a computer.
- Testing has shown that devices with Qualcomm SDM765 5G chipsets (e.g., OPPO Reno 3 5G) have insufficient hardware decoding capabilities and are currently not supported by the Insta360 app.
- The Insta360 app only supports 64-bit operating systems. It cannot be installed on devices with 32-bit systems.
- The Insta360 app is currently not optimized for Android tablets. It may not be available for download from app stores on these tablets, and even if installed, editing or exporting media may not function correctly.
- To provide higher quality and more stable software services, the Insta360 app v1.75.0 or later no longer supports iOS 12 or earlier versions from onwards.
FAQ
If my phone or tablet doesn't meet the compatibility requirements, can I still use X4 Air?
X4 Air supports multiple ways to control shooting. As long as you can install the Insta360 app on your phone or tablet and activate the camera, you can control the camera to take photos and videos. If you encounter issues while editing or exporting media using the Insta360 app due to device performance limitations, we recommend using Insta360 Studio for editing to ensure a smoother experience.
