Insta360 App: Connect Pocket Printer to Print Photos

Applicable Models: ONE X, X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, X5, Ace, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2, GO 3, GO 3S, GO Ultra, ONE R, and ONE RS

The Insta360 app now supports connection to Pocket Printer. You can conveniently check the Pocket Printer's serial number and firmware version on your mobile phone and perform firmware updates, photo printing, and other operations.

Media types supported by Pocket Printer

Camera files

• Ace Series, GO Series, and X Series
  • 360 photos.
  • Flat photos captured in the Photo, HDR Photo, Starlapse, Interval, and Burst Modes.
• ONE R and ONE RS
  • Flat photos captured with a non-fisheye lens.

Please note:

• For 360 photos, the printing option is available only under the "Editor" menu on the Player page; under the "Animate" option on the Player page, the Print button is grayed out.
• For ONE X cameras, you must first export the media as a flat photo from the Insta360 app and then initiate printing from your system album.

Files in phone's album

• Printing photos in JPEG, PNG, and RAW formats is supported.
• Printing live photos is supported (the cover is printed by default).
• Videos cannot be printed, and they will be automatically filtered out from the Album page when printing.
• HEIF photos (i.e., photos captured by iOS devices in the "High Efficiency" format) cannot be printed.

How to connect Pocket Printer via the Insta360 app to print photos

The Insta360 app v2.19.0 or later supports printing flat photos from Camera/Downloaded/Album

1. Ensure that your Insta360 app is updated to v2.19.0 or later.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and power on Pocket Printer.
3. Open the Insta360 app, tap "Me" at the bottom right > navigate to "Pocket Printer" > tap "Connect".

1. After a successful connection, tap "Pocket Printer" > "Print photo" to select and print flat photos from Camera/Downloaded/Album.

1. After selecting a file, you can adjust the photo before tapping "Start printing".

The Insta360 app v2.20.0 or later supports batch printing / printing multiple photos

Please update your Insta360 app to v2.20.2 or later. After connecting to the Pocket Printer, you can select up to 5 photos for batch printing at a time. You can check the printing progress in the "Printing Queue".

Please note: After connecting the Pocket Printer to the Insta360 app, you can check the serial number and firmware version of the printer and update the firmware.
