Ace Pro 2: Camera Screen Displays a Grayish Tone or Media Appears Grayish After Being Imported into Insta360 App

Applicable Models: Ace Pro 2

Solution

Please check if the I-Log Mode is enabled. I-Log is a professional color mode that reduces in-camera color correction and lowers contrast to preserve more original image information. This provides greater flexibility for color grading in post-production, which is why media appears flat and desaturated when this mode is enabled. You can check and adjust this setting as follows:

Adjusting the preview on the camera

In the camera, select the Color Preview feature to view the media with vibrant colors in real-time.

Adjusting the preview in the Insta360 App

After importing your media into the Insta360 app, go to the playback page. For optimal color performance, tap "Editor" on the bottom > "Edit" > "LUT" to apply the official LUT for color grading, or perform manual color adjustments.
