Ace Pro 2: Pocket Printer Printing & Connection Issues
Ace Pro 2: Pocket Printer Printing & Connection Issues
Applicable Models: Ace Pro 2
Scenario 1: The screen shows "Ribbon cartridge malfunction. Reinstall or replace the photo paper."
Please remove the cartridge and check if there is any photo paper and color ribbon left, and whether the plastic plate with barcode on the back of the photo paper is intact.
- If there is remaining photo paper and color ribbon, and the plastic plate is intact: The issue may be caused by improperly installed photo paper. It's recommended that you open the cartridge, remove the photo paper, then push it firmly back in until you hear a "click" sound—this means it's properly seated. Once it is installed correctly, the indicator light should turn blue. Then attempt to print again.
- If there's no photo paper and color ribbon left: Please replace it with a new cartridge pack as instructed in the user manual and try again.

Scenario 2: After the printer (with ribbon cartridge) is dropped or bumped, the screen displays "No Photo Paper"
After the printer is dropped or bumped, the bottom edges of the photo paper may become slightly warped or curled, preventing paper feed during printing and triggering a "No Photo Paper" error. We recommend you check the photo paper for warping, curling, or other damage. If the photo paper is damaged, please purchase replacement photo paper through Insta360's official sales channels. After replacement, the issue will be resolved.
Scenario 3: The printer cannot connect to the camera or the Bluetooth pairing page keeps loading
Please try restarting the printer, or press and hold the power button for three seconds to reset Bluetooth, then attempt to connect again.
Scenario 4: The printer frequently disconnects from the camera
Check if the camera is currently connected to other Bluetooth devices.
- If yes: Disconnect the existing Bluetooth connection first, then try connecting to the printer.
- If no: Restart the printer, or press and hold the power button for three seconds to reset Bluetooth, then attempt to connect again.
Scenario 5: The printer appears as "Connected" in the Bluetooth device list, but the info page keeps loading
Please restart the printer, or press and hold the power button for three seconds to reset Bluetooth, then try again.
Scenario 6: Printer is jammed or photo paper fails to eject for a long time
Please restart the printer, or press and hold the power button for three seconds to reset Bluetooth, then try again.
If none of the above solutions resolves your issue, we recommend you apply for Insta360 Repair Service for professional diagnostics.
