1. How much storage space does one minute of video recording use?

The storage space used by video depends on the bitrate setting. For example, when using the High bitrate setting (120 Mbps), one minute of video occupies approximately 900MB.

2. What specifications of memory cards are supported by the camera?

Please use a Micro SD / TF card that meets the UHS-I, V30 or higher specifications and is formatted as exFAT. Using slower cards may cause recording interruptions or file corruption. Additionally, do not use UHS-II, UHS-III cards, or cards with a capacity exceeding 1TB, as compatibility issues may also cause recording to stop.

3. How much storage space do photos in different formats use?

The actual photo file size can vary depending on the shooting scene. The following values are provided for reference:

4. Is there a size limit for individual video files?

Yes. During long recordings, the camera saves video files in fixed-duration segments. A single video segment has a maximum duration of 29 minutes and 59 seconds. The file size of a single segment depends on the bitrate set in the camera.

5. Can camera files deleted accidentally be recovered?

No. We recommend that you regularly back up important files to other storage devices or cloud drives.

6. If the camera powers off automatically due to low battery or overheating, will the recorded footage be saved automatically?

Yes. The camera automatically saves the recorded footage.

7. For footage saved in segments, can it be viewed as one continuous clip during preview?

Segmented footage is displayed as one continuous clip when previewed on the camera, in the Insta360 app, or in Insta360 Studio. However, when viewing the folder on PC, the files appear as individual segments.
