FAQ
1. Is I-Log supported when the Portrait Mode is enabled?
No.
2. Why does the background sometimes appear overexposed in backlit or cloudy conditions when the Portrait Mode is enabled?
The Portrait Mode prioritizes proper exposure for the face. Therefore, when shooting outdoors in backlit or cloudy conditions, the background might appear brighter. If you prefer a clearer background, try reducing the proportion of sky in your frame or temporarily turn off the Portrait Mode.
3. What should I do if more visual noise appears when using the zoom function with the Portrait Mode enabled?
It is recommended to use the zoom function in well-lit environments for a clearer image.
4. How can I achieve better results when shooting at night with the Portrait Mode enabled?
- Very dark environments (no lighting): Use the Video Mode with the Portrait Mode enabled, and consider using a third-party fill light or using the PureVideo Mode.
- Low-light environments (with some lighting): Use the Video Mode with the Portrait Mode enabled, and try to position the face towards the light source.
5. Why is the frame more prone to shaking when using the Portrait Mode at night or in low-light motion scenes?
The Portrait Mode is ideal for stationary or low-motion scenes in low light (e.g., walking, sitting still). For better results, it's recommended to set Stabilization to "Low" when using this mode. For high-intensity activities (e.g., running, jumping), temporarily disabling the Portrait Mode is recommended to achieve more stable footage.
