Ace Series: HDR Video & Photo

Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2

The HDR feature helps achieve better balanced brightness and darkness in your footage with richer details, making it particularly suitable for complex lighting scenes. The following instructions detail how to enable HDR for both video and photo shooting.

How to enable HDR Video

Ace

1. Navigate to the shooting screen and tap the "Mode" icon in the lower left.
2. Swipe left or right to find and select the "Active HDR" Mode.

Please note: This mode supports resolutions/frame rates up to 4K@30fps.

Ace Pro & Ace Pro 2

1. Navigate to the shooting screen and tap the "Mode" icon in the lower left.
2. Swipe left or right to select any of the following modes: "Video", "Loop Recording", or "FreeFrame Video".
3. After selecting the mode, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to access Shooting Specification Settings.
4. Configure your desired parameters. The "Active HDR" option in the upper left will automatically indicate "On" when enabled successfully.

*For Ace Pro, this mode supports resolutions/frame rates up to 4K@30fps. For Ace Pro 2, it supports up to 4K@60fps.

Please note: If you select "Video" Mode, you must first enable the I-Log Mode: Swipe left from the right edge of the screen > tap the I-Log Mode icon > select "On".

How to enable HDR Photo

Ace and Ace Pro

1. Navigate to the shooting screen and tap the "Mode" icon in the lower left.
2. Swipe left or right to find and select the "HDR Photo" Mode.

Please note: This mode supports two resolutions: 9MP (16:9) and 12MP (4:3).

Ace Pro 2

1. Navigate to the shooting screen and tap the "Mode" icon in the lower left.
2. Swipe left or right to find and select the "Photo" Mode.
3. After selecting the mode, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to access Shooting Specification Settings.
4. Set the resolution to either 9MP (16:9) or 12.5MP (4:3). HDR Photo is enabled by default with these settings.
