Endurance Mode is an intelligent power-saving feature specifically designed to prolong shooting time. Enabling this mode significantly reduces power consumption and enhances battery life. This article provides instructions for enabling the mode, important notes, and some FAQ answers, helping you avoid low-battery anxiety during long shooting sessions.

Instructions

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > Tap the "Endurance Mode" icon to enable.

Battery life reference:

• 4K@30fps: Approx. 150 minutes
• 1080P@24fps: Approx. 180 minutes

*The above data is based on testing in a windless indoor environment at 77℉ (25℃) with "Active HDR" disabled. Actual battery life may vary under different conditions.

FAQ

1. Which features become unavailable when Endurance Mode is enabled?

The following features are disabled when Endurance Mode is enabled: Voice Control, Gesture Control, AI Highlights Assistant, Face Priority, 45°/360° Horizon Lock, Timed Capture, Charge and Record, and Zoom.

Please note: Vibration, prompt sounds, and indicator lights remain functional.

2. Which parameter settings are supported in Endurance Mode?

Mode/Specification: Video (4K@30/25/24fps and 1080P@30/25/24fps)

Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (default)

Active HDR: "Off" (default), and can be manually enabled

FOV: MegaView, UltraWide, Dewarp, and Linear

Video Encoding: H.264 (default)

3. What are the default settings of auto-shutdown and screen-off timers in Endurance Mode?

Screen-off: 30 seconds of inactivity

Auto-shutdown: 1 minute of inactivity

4. Can Endurance Mode be enabled when the camera is connected to the Insta360 app or GPS Preview Remote?

No. The Endurance Mode icon will be grayed out and cannot be selected in this case.
