Please note: The Star and Black Mist Filters are filter-type accessories, and they do not require removal of the Lens Guard; simply screw them onto the original Lens Guard.

How to enable the Lens or Filter option

Enable the option

After powering on the camera, swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Accessories" > "Lens Master" > find the installed lens or filter. After successful setup, return to the Preview page. A lens icon will appear in the top right corner of the screen, indicating that the feature is enabled.

Switch options

After removing a lens or filter, repeat the steps above to switch to the "Standard" option in "Lens Master".

Please note: When the "Black Mist Filter" option is enabled, only the "Matrix" metering mode is supported.

FAQ

1. After installing the Close-Up Lens and enabling "Focus Peaking Display", why are there red edges/lines around objects in the image?

This is a normal feature designed to assist with precise focusing. Red lines appearing around object edges indicate that those areas are in focus, while areas without red lines are not yet focused. The red lines are only a focusing aid and will not appear in the final media. You can use this feature with confidence.

2. After installing the Ultra Wide Lens, why are the corners of the preview black or dark?

This usually happens when the camera hasn't been switched to the corresponding lens option, preventing the algorithm from applying perspective correction, which results in vignetting (dark corners). You can complete the setup by following the steps:

Please swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Accessories" > tap "Lens Master" > select the "Ultra Wide Lens" option, and the image will return to normal.

3. Why does the Black Mist Filter have dense tiny dots that cannot be wiped off on its surface?

The fine grid, particles, or texture on the surface of the Black Mist Filter are part of its special structural design. When light passes through the filter, these structures diffuse the light, softening sharp edges (like skin texture or object outlines) in the image. This is a normal functional characteristic of the filter, and you can use it with confidence.

4. After installing the Black Mist Filter, why can't I enable the Face Priority metering mode / why is the metering mode option grayed out in Exposure Settings?

This is the system's default setting. The Black Mist Filter is an external filter specifically designed for portrait photography. When you enable "Black Mist Filter" on the camera, the camera will prioritize the Face Priority option to help achieve a more natural shooting effect for the subject's face.

5. What is the difference between shooting 2.35:1 media with the Cinematic Lens installed versus without it?
  • Wider field of view: Achieves a wider horizontal field of view compared to shooting without this lens, enhancing visual impact.
  • Optical effects: Features unique flare and streak effects, enriching the visual atmosphere.
  • Film-like texture: The tonality is specially optimized to deliver a softer, more film-like quality.
  • Exclusive design: Inspired by Atlas cinematic lens styles, the Cinematic Lens incorporates specially designed distortion projection and allows for a variety of shooting styles:
    • In the MegaView Mode, straight flares and streaks can be captured.
    • In the UltraWide Mode, the full field of view (FOV) can be utilized.
    • In the Linear Mode, the effect is not significantly different from shooting without this lens.

6. Can the Ultra Wide Lens be used for 8K shooting with the camera? If so, what is the FOV after stabilization cropping?

Yes, 8K shooting is still supported. With the resolution set to 8K and the stabilization level set to "Standard", the field of view (FOV) is up to H134° in both the MegaView and UltraWide Modes.

7. Can the camera zoom after installing the Cinematic Lens?

Currently, the camera does not support zooming after installing the Cinematic Lens. We are continuously working to optimize our product to provide a better user experience. Thank you for your understanding and support!

8. Why does it feel like there's friction when installing a lens, or why is there slight paint wear at the connection port?

To achieve the camera's 5-meter waterproof rating, the connection port for interchangeable lenses is designed to be very tight. You may feel some friction resistance during installation, which is normal and safe to use. If slight paint wear occurs, it is recommended to use the small brush included with the product to gently clean the connection port.

9. Why are only the Photo and Video Modes available after using the Cinematic Lens? Why can't I use PureVideo Mode with the Cinematic Lens?

To enhance user convenience and achieve optimal cinematic effects, the system retains only two modes that most directly achieve the cinematic look: Photo and Video.

10 Can I choose a metering mode after installing certain filters or lenses (e.g., Star Filter or Cinematic Lens)?

When the Star Filter is installed: The metering mode options will become unavailable (displayed as grayed out in Settings).

When the Cinematic Lens is installed: Only the "Face Priority" option can be selected.

11. Why is there a sound when rotating the Adjustable Macro Lens?

When rotating the Close-Up Lens, slight friction occurs between the zoom ring and the lens body. The sound produced during this friction is a normal phenomenon (you can refer to the demo video) and does not affect the normal use of the lens or the camera.
