Ace Series: Abnormal Exposure, Overexposure, or Underexposure in Photos or Videos
Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2
1. Check the current exposure mode
Swipe left from the right edge of the camera screen to check whether you are currently using the "Manual(M)" or "Auto" exposure mode.

2. Troubleshooting based on the situation
If using the Manual(M) Exposure mode
When the camera is in the Manual(M) exposure mode, the following issues might occur due to Shutter Speed and ISO settings:
- If a slower shutter speed or a higher ISO is set, the image might become overexposed if the ambient light increases.
- If a faster shutter speed or a lower ISO is set, the image might become underexposed (too dark).
We recommend you try the following steps:
- Switch to the Auto mode: Swipe left from the right edge of the screen to access Exposure Settings, and switch to the "Auto" mode.
- Adjust the Shutter Speed/Sensitivity (ISO) settings: Swipe left from the right edge of the touchscreen, then select the "Shutter" or "ISO" icon from the menu bar and adjust the value accordingly.
Please note: Increasing ISO may introduce more noise, so please adjust moderately according to your needs.
If using the Auto Exposure mode
- Confirm that "Face Priority" is not enabled, as this can sometimes cause overexposure/underexposure due to uneven brightness distribution.
- Check the EV setting: It is recommended to adjust EV within the range of +1 or lower.
- Restart the camera: If EV is already set to 0, try restarting the camera to see if the exposure returns to normal.
