Ace Series: Camera Abnormally Prompts "Memory Card Full"

Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2

Description

When the camera's internal storage and memory card are not full, the icon in the top right corner prompts "Memory Card Full", which may indicate a reading abnormality.

Solution

  1. Check memory card compatibility

Ensure you are using a Micro SD/TF card that meets the UHS-I, V30 or higher speed class specification and is formatted as exFAT. Incompatible memory cards may cause reading abnormalities.

  1. Restore camera to factory settings

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "Factory Reset" > tap "Confirm".​

  1. Format memory card
  • Ace Pro 2: Go to the camera menu, and tap "Settings" > "SD Card" > "Deep-Level Format".
  • Ace and Ace Pro: You can format the card within the Insta360 app, in the camera's Settings, or via a computer.
