FAQ
1. What stabilization levels are available?
For Ace and Ace Pro:
- Off: Stabilization is disabled.
- Low: Basic stabilization while preserving natural motion, ideal for dynamic scenes.
- Standard: Suitable for daily sports scenes like road cycling.
- High: Strong stabilization for extreme sports scenes like mountain biking.
For Ace Pro 2:
- Off: Stabilization is disabled.
- Low: Basic stabilization while preserving natural motion, ideal for dynamic scenes.
- Standard: Suitable for daily sports scenes like road cycling.
- High: Strong stabilization for extreme sports scenes like mountain biking.
2. Can the stabilization effect be viewed in real time on the camera screen?
Yes. The screen displays the stabilization effect in real time.
3. Why is the change in the camera's FOV barely noticeable after the stabilization is adjusted?
This is normal. After a stabilization level is set, the camera determines the frame adjustment range based on motion status. When the camera is stationary or moving slightly, the adjustment ranges under different stabilization levels are similar, so the FOV change is not noticeable.
4. Does using 2x zoom affect the stabilization effect?
The stabilization effect may be slightly weakened. The camera adopts electronic image stabilization technology, which achieves smoother shooting by cropping a small part of the frame. When using 2x zoom, the FOV is enlarged, reducing the available margin for cropping. Therefore, it is recommended to use the zoom feature in well-lit environments for better stabilization performance.
5. Which shooting modes support stabilization processing with Gyroflow?
Only footage shot in the FreeFrame Video Mode is supported.
Steps:
- Switch to the FreeFrame Video Mode for shooting.
- Download and install the latest version of Gyroflow from its official website.
- Import the footage and freely adjust parameters such as FOV, stabilization smoothness, and output resolution according to your needs.
- Export the processed video.
