2. Set the loop duration

Swipe up from the bottom of the camera screen to access the Shooting Specification page. Tap "Loop Duration" and select your preferred option (5 minutes, 10 minutes, Infinite, etc.).

Please note: You can refer to the remaining recordable length displayed in the upper left corner of the screen for setting. Ensure the memory card has sufficient free space. It is recommended to reserve storage space for at least "Loop Duration + 1 minute".

3. Start recording

Press the shutter button to start recording. The camera will record in loops based on the duration you set, and video files will be saved in 1-minute segments.

Please note: If the memory card has insufficient free space, the system will record until the storage space is used up and then stop automatically, and will not overwrite older files.

Example: If the loop duration is set to 10 minutes, but the memory card only has storage space for 9 minutes remaining, the camera will store 9 full 1-minute videos and then stop recording automatically.

FAQ

1. Does the Loop Recording Mode automatically delete other files on the memory card?

No. The camera only overwrites video files generated in the "Loop Recording" Mode itself. It will not delete other manually saved files or files from other shooting modes on the memory card.

2. How can I make the Loop Recording Mode function like a dash cam?

You need to complete the following two settings:

  • Set Loop Duration: Select "Infinite" ("∞" icon) for the "Loop Duration". The camera will then record continuously, overwriting the oldest video segments, until the memory card is nearly full.
  • Enable Charge and Record: Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > select "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "Power-off Charging Settings" > select "Charge and Record". After this setup, the camera will automatically start loop recording when external power is connected.
