Ace Series: Pre-recording

Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2

When the Pre-recording feature is enabled, the camera will automatically save footage from a period of time before you press the Record button. This means you can easily capture those fleeting and wonderful moments without constantly being ready to record.

Instructions

Ace, Ace Pro

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "Image Settings" > adjust "Bitrate":

• “High” Bitrate: Enables 15-second pre-recording.
• "Standard" Bitrate: Enables 30-second pre-recording.

Ace Pro 2

Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap the "Pre-recording" icon, and swipe to select the desired pre-recording duration.

Please note: The available duration options may vary with the current shooting mode or specifications in use.

FAQ

1. Will the Pre-recording feature turn off automatically after the camera restarts or powers back on after a shutdown?

Yes. The camera will return to the "Pre-recording Off" state by default.

2. Which functions will be affected when Pre-recording is enabled?

• Zoom is not supported for the Pre-recording feature
• Switching shooting modes is not supported for the Pre-recording feature
• Swiping down to open the Shortcut menu is not supported for the Pre-recording feature

3. What pre-recording durations are supported in different modes or shooting specifications?
