When shooting in windy conditions like cycling or running, you can enable the "Wind Reduction" mode to effectively minimize wind noise.
Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Audio Settings" (the microphone-shaped icon) > select "Wind Reduction".
When shooting in windy conditions like cycling or running, you can attach a microphone wind guard and enable the "Wind Reduction" mode to effectively minimize wind noise.
Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Audio Settings" (the microphone-shaped icon) > select "Wind Reduction".
Check if accessories like a Utility Frame, protective case, or sticker are used on the camera. Ensure they do not obstruct the microphone (refer to the figure below for microphone location).
Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap "Audio Settings" (the microphone-shaped icon) > select a different audio mode and record again to see if the issue has been resolved.
Open the Album page, tap the "Volume" icon on the left, and check if it was accidentally set to "Mute".
If you used the Slow Motion, Timelapse or TimeShift Mode while shooting, videos are muted by default. Please confirm if the media was shot in these modes.
Please check the current firmware version of your camera. If it is v1.0.96, you can download and install the temporary firmware. After updating the firmware via the SD card, verify whether the issue is resolved.

Please try restarting the camera or performing a factory reset, then record a video to see if the audio returns to normal.
