Ace Series: Timelapse Mode

Ace Series: Timelapse Mode

Applicable Models: Ace, Ace Pro, and Ace Pro 2

Timelapse is a technique that captures a series of photos at fixed intervals and compiles them into a video. It condenses slowly evolving scenes like sunrises, sunsets, or drifting clouds into short visual sequences, allowing you to easily capture the passage of time.

Instructions

  1. Use the Timelapse Mode

After powering on the camera, tap the "Shooting Mode" icon in the lower left of the screen, and swipe left or right to select the "Timelapse" Mode.

  1. Set shooting parameters

Timelapse requires configuring two core parameters: Interval and Shoot Length:

  • Interval
    • Available interval options: 2s/5s/10s/30s/60s/120s
  • Shoot Length
    • This refers to the total time actually spent capturing the scene. The generated video's duration can be calculated using this formula: Final Video Duration (seconds) = Shoot Length (seconds) ÷ Interval (seconds)
    • Example: With a 5-second interval and a 50-minute (3000-second) Shoot Length, the final video length is 3000 ÷ 5 = 600 seconds (i.e., 10 minutes).

  1. Start shooting

Once the parameters are set, tap the Shutter button on the screen to begin. Please keep the camera stable during shooting to ensure smooth and clear footage.
