The Photo Grab feature allows you to easily capture high-definition photos while recording video. You don't need to pause the recording; simply press a button to simultaneously capture memorable moments, ensuring you never miss any captivating scenes.

How to enable the Photo Grab feature

Once you start recording a video, tap "Shutter" (Circle icon) in the lower left of the screen to capture a high-definition photo while the recording continues.

Ace: HDR Video (4K@30/25/24fps), Video / FreeFrame Video modes (4K@60/50/48/30/25/24fps)

Ace Pro: Video (including HDR Video), and FreeFrame Video (4K@60/50/48/30/25/24fps)

Ace Pro 2: Video (including HDR Video), FreeFrame Video, and Loop Recording modes (4K@60fps and lower resolutions and frame rates)

Please note: In Video mode, if you set the FOV (Field of View) to "45° Horizon Lock" or "360° Horizon Lock", the Photo Grab feature cannot be used.

2. What is the resolution of photos taken with the Photo Grab feature?

The Photo Grab feature generates high-definition photos. The specific resolution varies by camera model and aspect ratio:

Ace and Ace Pro:

• 12MP (4K), 4:3 Aspect Ratio: 4032 x 3024
• 9MP (4K), 16:9 Aspect Ratio: 4032 x 2264

Ace Pro 2:

• 12.5MP (4K), 4:3 Aspect Ratio: 4096 x 3072
• 9MP (4K), 16:9 Aspect Ratio: 4096 x 2304
