Ace Series: Pause Recording and Cancel Recording

Mastering the Pause Recording and Cancel Recording features can significantly enhance your shooting efficiency and final video quality. The following guide provides detailed instructions to help you use these features effortlessly.

How to use the Pause Recording feature?

Pause recording

1. During recording: Tap the red button at the bottom of the screen to pause the recording for the first time.
2. Resume/pause again: Tap the same red button again or tap the shutter button.
3. Save recording: Tap the red button in the lower right of the screen to save the footage to Album.

Power off while recording is paused

If you power off the camera while a recording is paused, you can resume the recording of previous footage the next time you turn the camera on. After finishing the recording, tap the red button in the lower right to save the footage to Album.

Resume recording from Album

Open the album, select footage, and tap the red button in its lower right to resume the recording and append new video to the end of that footage.

Please note: This feature is only available in Video, Slow Motion, PureVideo, and TimeShift Modes.

How to use the Cancel Recording Feature?

1. Enable feature: Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the "Shortcut" menu, tap "Settings" (Gear icon ⚙) > tap "General" > enable the "Long Press to Cancel Recording" option.
2. Cancel recording: During recording, press and hold the shutter button to immediately cancel and delete the current recording.
