X Series: Slow Media Transfer or Download When Camera Is Connected to Insta360 App

Description

When the camera is connected to the Insta360 app, the transfer or download of media over Wi-Fi is slow.

Solution

We recommend you try the following steps in sequence for troubleshooting:

1. Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection

It is recommended to keep your camera and phone within 3.3ft (1m) of each other. Avoid obstacles such as walls and metal objects to reduce signal interference.

2. Restart your camera and phone, then reconnect them and download the media again
3. Update the versions

Please ensure both the camera firmware and the Insta360 app are updated to their latest version. To update the Insta360 app, search for "Insta360" in Apple App Store or your device's app store. If an "Update" button appears, tap it to update. Alternatively, you can visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.

4. Change the usage environment

If possible, try performing the operations in different locations, such as the office or home, to avoid wireless signal interferences in specific environments.
