FAQ
1. [For X5, X4 Air, and X4] Why can't I turn PureShot on or off for photos captured in the PureShot Mode after importing them into the Insta360 app?
These cameras use a new chipset that completes the PureShot image processing instantly at the time of shooting, eliminating the need for additional processing via the Insta360 app. Therefore, for such processed photos, the option to turn this feature on/off within the Insta360 app is grayed out by default and cannot be tapped.
2. What are the differences between INSP, INSP+RAW, PureShot, and PureShot+RAW Modes?

Please note:
- INSP photos can be exported as JPG images via the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.
- DNG photos can be exported as DNG images via Insta360 Studio (Insta360 app does not currently support this feature).
3. [For X3 only] Why do PureShot photos captured with an X3 camera appear black and white when previewed in the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio, and why do DNG photos appear purple?
When the PureShot format is used on an X3 camera, the preview image will appear black and white. Colors will be restored only after the PureShot algorithm is applied in post-production within the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio. This is normal, and you can use the camera with confidence. DNG photos will appear purple and cannot be restored.
