X Series: Lens Guards Mode

Applicable Models: ONE X, X2, X3, X4, X4 Air, and X5

To achieve optimal image quality and natural stitching results, it is recommended to select the corresponding Lens Guards Mode option during shooting and post-production according to the type of lens guard you use.

How to set the Lens Guards Mode on a camera

X5 and X4 Air

When installing or removing an Insta360 lens guard, the camera automatically recognizes and switches to the corresponding mode; no manual setting is required. If a lens guard is installed, the corresponding icon will be displayed in the upper right corner.

When an Insta360 lens guard is installed or removed, you need to manually set the Lens Guards Mode. Swipe down from the top of the camera screen to access the "Shortcut" menu > tap the "Lens Guards Mode" icon to select the corresponding mode.

Available modes: Auto, Standard Lens Guards, Premium Lens Guards, and No Lens Guards
