How to switch shooting modes

The operation for switching shooting modes varies by model. Please follow the steps below to select the desired mode based on your device.

X5, X4 Air, X4, and X3

Power on the camera > tap the "Shooting Mode" icon in the bottom left corner of the screen > swipe left or right to select your desired shooting mode.

Power on the camera > tap the button at the bottom of the screen to enter Settings > press the shutter button or power button briefly to switch between different menus and options.

ONE X

Press and hold the power button to power on the camera > press the shutter button briefly to switch to "Settings" or "More Settings" > press the power button and shutter button to select and confirm.

Interval

The camera automatically takes multiple photos continuously at a set interval, perfect for recording the changing process of subjects over time.

Burst Photo

The camera takes multiple photos in rapid succession to freeze dynamic moments in sports and fast-moving scenes, ensuring you never miss the key shot.

Night Shot

Optimized for night photography with improved brightness and reduced noise. For best results, please export images via the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.

Timed Capture

Use with the Insta360 app to set a countdown. It is perfect for selfies, group photos, and fixed-angle shooting.

Timelapse

This mode requires the camera to stay stationary. Perfect for documenting gradual changes like sunrise, sunset, and flowing traffic.

TimeShift

The camera moves with the user to create dynamic, hyperlapse-style videos. Ideal for capturing motion while walking on the street or cycling.

Slow Motion

This mode records high-frame-rate videos for smooth slow-motion playback, ideal for capturing details of fast-moving subjects.

FreeFrame Video

This mode requires post-production with FlowState Stabilization via the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio. It supports re-adjusting the aspect ratio and horizon lock.
