Remote Device Control via API

To meet enterprise-level deployment and automated management needs, Insta360 Wave provides an open API for remote device control. By calling the API, your IT or development team can programmatically manage devices remotely, achieving seamless integration with existing meeting room management systems, conferencing platforms, or automated O&M (operation and maintenance) workflows.

Core Control Functions

The API supports the remote execution of core parameters such as powering the device on/off, starting/pausing/ending recordings, and adjusting pickup patterns, audio quality settings, and volume.

Typical Application Scenarios

• Automated Recording for Scheduled Meetings: Integrate the API with corporate meeting or calendar systems to automatically wake the device and start recording when a meeting begins. Audio can be uploaded in real-time during the recording, and the device will automatically stop when the meeting ends, completing process automation management.
• Centralized O&M Control: Through a unified corporate management dashboard, status information for all deployed devices can be monitored centrally via the API, and operations such as remote reboots can be executed, significantly improving device management and maintenance efficiency.
