Connecting an External Microphone

For more professional audio recording, you can connect a wireless microphone (such as Insta360 Mic Pro). A wireless microphone can significantly improve vocal clarity and ambient audio quality, making it ideal for scenarios like interviews and vlogging. The device supports up to two wireless microphones. The following instructions use Mic Pro as an example.

Connecting the Receiver via an Adapter

1. Attach a USB-C adapter to the Mic Pro receiver and insert it into the USB-C port at the bottom of the camera.
2. The camera will automatically detect and switch to the external microphone input. Under Audio Settings, the recording device will update to External Microphone.

Connecting the Transmitter via Bluetooth

1. Swipe down to enter the shortcut menu.
2. You can pair the wireless microphone through either of the two entry points: Accessories or Wireless Mic.
3. Triple-press the power button on the transmitter to enter pairing mode and complete the pairing process.
