How to claim the service

  1. Download the Insta360 app: Please go to the App Store or your local app store and search for "Insta360". If an "Update" button is displayed, tap it to upgrade. You may also visit the Insta360 Website to download the latest version of the Insta360 app.
  2. Log in to your account: Open the Insta360 app. If you already have an account, log in directly. If not, register as prompted and then log in.
  3. Connect and activate your camera: Power on your camera, and complete the activation and binding of your camera by connecting it to the Insta360 app.

  • For Ace Pro 2, please make sure to update the Insta360 app to v2.16.0 or above before claiming the benefits. For GO Ultra, please update to v2.21.0 or above.
  • For users in the Chinese Mainland, the free cloud service must be claimed via the Insta360 app regardless of the purchase channel.
  • For regions outside the Chinese Mainland, the method to claim the free cloud service varies depending on your purchase channel.
    • If purchased from the Insta360 Store, the free cloud service will be issued directly to the email registered when placing the order.

Important notes

  • Benefits must be claimed within the promotion period. Unclaimed benefits after the deadline will be considered forfeited and cannot be claimed again.

1. What are the requirements to participate in this promotion? Why can't I claim it?

To participate in the promotion and receive the benefit, you must meet all of the following conditions:

  • purchase an Ace Pro 2 or GO Ultra camera from Insta360 official or authorized channels.
  • be a first-time subscriber to Insta360+ Cloud Service who has not participated in any similar free cloud service promotion before.
  • update your Insta360 app to the latest version.
  • connect your camera via the Insta360 app and complete the signup and claim process within the promotion period.

2. How can I claim the cloud service if I have already activated my camera but not yet claimed it?

If your device and account are still within the valid promotion period and you meet all eligibility requirements, you may claim it by following these steps:

Please update the Insta360 app to the latest version, then connect your camera. If you are eligible, a prompt will appear. Simply follow the instructions to complete the signup.

3. Will automatic renewal charges apply after the free period ends?

If you do not cancel your subscription before the end of the free period, the system will automatically renew your subscription at the standard plan price for your region. If you do not wish to continue the subscription, we recommend manually canceling the renewal through your original subscription channel at least 24 hours before the free period ends to avoid subsequent charges.

4. Can I still enjoy this promotional offer if I am already an Insta360+ Cloud Service subscriber?

If you are already a paid subscriber of the Insta360+ Cloud Service or have participated in the cloud service promotion for other camera models, you are not eligible for this offer. This promotion is limited to first-time subscribers to the Insta360+ Cloud Service who have not joined any previous cloud service promotion. Existing subscribers or users who have participated in similar offers cannot enjoy the benefit repeatedly.

5. Can I still use the cloud service if I switch to another account after claiming the free benefit?

The cloud service benefit is bound to the account and device used for claiming. After switching the account, benefits associated with the original account cannot be transferred to the new account. We recommend confirming you are using your long-term account before claiming.

6. Can the free cloud service from this promotion be cashed out or transferred to someone else?

The free Insta360+ Cloud Service provided under this promotion is an exclusive virtual service benefit for personal use only. It cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, transferred, or gifted to others.

7. Can I claim the benefit multiple times if I own multiple eligible cameras?

One claim per device and per account. Even with multiple cameras, each account is limited to one claim. To claim for additional devices, you must use separate accounts (one claim per account).

8. What happens if I cancel my subscription during the free trial period?

If you cancel your subscription (i.e., turn off auto-renewal), you will be deemed to have waived the remaining free benefits. You may lose access immediately, and the same account and device will not be eligible to claim again. We recommend not canceling during the free trial period. If you do need to cancel the subscription, you may do so shortly before the end of the free period to avoid subsequent charges.

9. What is the impact if I switch to another subscription plan during the free trial period?

If you voluntarily switch to another cloud service plan during the free trial period, you will be deemed to have waived this promotional offer. You will no longer have access to the remaining free trial duration, and the service and price associated with the new plan will apply.

10. Why didn't I receive the free Care or extended warranty after claiming the cloud service?

This promotion only offers the Insta360+ Classic Plan, which includes cloud storage and related features like sync, sharing, playback, editing, and export. It does not include extra benefits such as free extended warranty, camera replacement, or priority in shipping. Corresponding benefits will be provided if you subscribe to a paid plan after the free trial period ends and meet the requirements.

11. Can the claimed cloud service be used on 360 cameras?

The free Classic Plan is only supported on Ace Pro 2 or GO Ultra. If you want to use it on 360 cameras, you may upgrade to the Insta360+ Premium Plan on the cloud service subscription page.

12. Why doesn't my subscription appear in the Insta360 Store after I claimed the cloud service?

The free benefit from this promotion cannot be viewed in the Insta360 Store temporarily. You can check it in the Insta360 app under "Me" > "My Cloud and Devices". Rest assured that the display issue in the Insta360 Store will not affect your use of the free cloud storage benefit.
