Insta360+: Moments
The Insta360+ Moments feature is now officially available! After you upload your 360 media to the cloud, it will be deeply analyzed. Themes, moods, and highlight moments are automatically identified to generate a "rhythmic, emotional, and highlight-rich" reel with template recommendations and automatic production—bringing you unexpected surprises. You can also share it with one tap to major social platforms like TikTok, making it easy to share your precious memories.
How to use Moments
- Ensure your Insta360 app is updated to v2.15.2 or later.
- Upload your recorded 360 media to Insta360+ cloud storage, where it will be automatically analyzed to generate moments.

- Once moments are generated, you will receive a notification from the Insta360 app. You can also view the generated video on the Album page.
- Tap the generated video to quickly save it to your device or share it with friends.
Please note: It may take 1 to 2 days to generate moments. If the media is too short or contains too many similar scenes, the moments may not be created successfully. We recommend capturing more than 10 clips of 360 video, each longer than 1 minute and featuring varied scenes. After uploading, please wait 1 to 2 days for the system to automatically scan your media and generate moments.
Notes
- Before using Moments, please ensure that you have backed up your 360 video footage to the cloud.
- To use this feature, you need to read and agree to the privacy policy applicable to your region. When new features are launched, the Insta360 app will send you a private message, and you can select "Agree" or "Reject" as needed. You may also tap the link below to view the corresponding privacy policy:
- Videos generated by Moments currently do not support manual editing or modification.
- Moments are fully automated by the system; customization of content or the number of moments is not currently supported.
FAQ
1. Why did this feature become available without my agreement to the privacy policy? Why was my cloud media automatically analyzed and processed into moments? How do I turn off Moments?
Insta360 app has sent you a private message regarding the privacy terms when this feature was launched. You can find it here: In the Insta360 app, tap the "Message" icon in the top left corner, then locate the message from "Insta360+" to view the privacy terms.
If you do not want to use this feature, you may manually disable it using either of the following methods:
- Method 1: On the "Insta360+" private message page, tap "Reject" to disable the feature.
- Method 2: Tap "Me" > "My Cloud and Devices" > "Cloud Album Permissions" > turn off "Moments".
2. Why can't I edit the generated moments?
Moments are automatically generated by the system after analyzing your uploaded media. Customization of content or the number of moments is currently not supported. We will continuously optimize our products to provide you with a better user experience. Thank you for your understanding and support!
